Membership
The annual cost for adults is £72 which is excellent value, with 40 plus meetings a year (weekly cost would average less than £4 if you were able to play every week). The membership year starts in September – a discount is given for mid-year joining and juniors. You can try out the club first before formally joining.
Under 18s are welcome but they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
History
The history of Sevenoaks Chess Club goes back more than a century. Club records include a list of the winners of every Kent County Chess Association (“KCCA”) team tournament, members of the winning County Cup teams, and individual champions going back to 1890.
